CALA GALDANA, AN EXCEPTION THAT PROVES THE RULE!

Cala Galdana, an exception that proves the rule!

This is a special blog that we are going to dedicate to a beach that in its time was exceptionally beautiful, I take this opportunity to show you an old photo that speaks for itself.

The cove of Menorca with an exceptional fine white sand, in winter we can see its true beauty by the cleanliness and transparency of its waters. Great beach to go with children as it is protected from all winds except the southeast (wind that usually brings rain and bad weather so you do not think about the beach).

Located in the south of Menorca, this beach belongs to the municipality of Ferreries, with all the services imaginable, as it is urbanised, we mention it for its extraordinary beauty. You can't go against time and what's done is done!

In Cala Galdana, you have restaurants, car parks at "almost" the foot of the beach, showers on the beach, beach bars, beach umbrellas and sun loungers, boat hire, bus service, taxi...

If you come to Ca s'Arader, we will be happy to show you how to get to this beautiful cove, although you have to be aware that it is very different from the photo in this blog!

S'ARADER

Ca s’Arader is named after Menorca’s artisan carpenters that used the wood from the indigenous wild olive tree to make all kinds of farming tools. In the olden days it was an essential role for the islands economy that was passed on from fathers to sons. Today, the few artisan carpenters or araders that are left, mostly make gates, tables, benches or stalls amongst other items.
