Ca s'Arader is a charming little hotel located in the historic center of Ciutadella on the island of Menorca. It is an ADULTS-ONLY hotel, ideal for a romantic getaway, a trip to relax, to unwind ... Here you can enjoy the simple things of that authentic relaxation. In short, feel at home but away from the routine.
The hotel’s name takes us back to the 18th century, a period during which Menorca was under British rule and, more precisely back to the craftsmanship started by the current owners Great-grandfather, who was born in this house. Both history and tradition give character to Ca s’Arader.
The four bedrooms at Ca s’Arader are named after Menorca’s most important winds. The most significant comes from the north, is called Tramuntana and is a cold and strong wind. It is followed by East winds, called Llevant, which originates in the central Mediterranean; then the south wind, known as Migjorn, which is warm and humid; and the west wind, called Ponent, which is warm and dry.
The house where Ca s’Arader is located, in the Santa Clara neighbourhood, was part of the old medieval city. The facade, which is protected, speaks to this past, just as the nearby stone paved alleys and stately palaces do.
